Does The Transmission/ Drive Shaft Require Lube

I have a Cub Cadet 760ES walk behind. The drive / transmission is a closed system. I can't find any Information about using lube or fluid for routine maintenance. I'm having issues with it kicking into gear. Any help or resource books would be appreciated.
