If this doesnt fix it I recommend sending the unit in to a service shop.
- Your player has a feature called recovery mode which is used to recover itself from a malfunction. This article provides you the steps to access this recovery mode.
- Turn off your player.
- Press and hold (pause/play) button.
Continue to hold until you perform the 3rd Step. If you accidentally release the button, start the procedure again by turning the player off normally. If the player freezes, press the Reset button on the player to turn it OFF. - Slide the On/Off/Lock switch towards the power symbol and hold until the display lights up. The Recovery Mode screen appears, and four menu items are shown: Clean Up, Format All, Reload Firmware and Reboot.
Note: However, if accessing the Recovery Mode is not possible since the player stays unresponsive, leave the unit until its battery power drains off. Once the battery discharges, fully charge the player again. When charging is complete, try accessing the Recovery Mode again to perform the suggested options. - Select Clean Up
- Once Clean up is done and the player displays the recovery mode again, select Reboot to restart the player. If your player does not have a reboot/restart option, please switch off the player normally and then switch it on again.
- Should the above solution is unable to resolve the issue, please install the player's latest firmware via the Reload Firmware option. To obtain further instruction on getting the firmware reload into the player, you can refer to the following article:
