Text Links, What Do They Want From Me?

I've been trying to find a place to stay on craigslist recently and when I send an email the person usually responds positively then sends me a text with a link to the original post. What in the world am I supposed to do with this link? I don't see anything to fill out that looks helpful. What do they want?
