Site Defaulted To A Different City.

I'm trying to put an ad in a city close to me, but the site defaulted to a different city. How can I change that without having to cancel my ad since I might not be able to repost it right away/

Your question is confusing. Have you already posted your ad? If so, you can't change the city without reposting (and you'll have to delete the old ad first and wait 48 hours from the original posting). If you haven't yet posted—or if you have—find the city you want using the links at the right of Craigslist's opening page.
