My Posting Doesn't Show Up .....

I have an account and have posted job opportunities (in the past). Now when I post, I'll received a confirmation email with a confirm ID # and it shows up when I log into my account as active, but it does not show up when I search for it on craigslist. Why ??

Same thing has happened to me! I think it may be because an ad was flagged a few times - and thus they might just be pretending to post my ads only to leave it appear as oif it's active but then when a search is done - it does not show up! And, alas, there are no responses. My best solution to this - which I'm about to do is to create a new account from another modem/computer and REPOST - but change some words around. They probably use it as a way to screen people who overpost or are getting flagged which usually are legitimate flags. In my case, I posted a room/share ad for a female as a female - which is allowed! So, some idiot (males) are getting offended and are probably flagging it (not aware of the fair housing laws which specifically allow this exception to sex discrimination). Otherwise, there is no other obvious reason. Email me with your case; very interested in defeating this problem which I'm sure we can if we think about our individual scenarios. Chances are you probably were flagged a few times and cl is simply automaticaly shutting those ads down as you post them since they figure it got flagged once it'll probably get flagged again.
