I Have Not Been Able To Reply To Any Free Posts.

I have not been able to reply to any posts on the free site. I have already sent 2 messages concerning this with title and posting number and have not received any feedback. Could you please fix this for me or tell me what to do about it. But please get back to me. Please don't tell me to go on the help pages. I've tried everything that Craigslist has suggested and the reply button still will not work. Please help me, I use this site a lot. Thank you, Mary Brazao

1. The reply button will work only if the advertiser has chosen to use Craigslist's "anonymizing" function for replies.

2. Craigslist says that in an effort to curb abuse of its email servers and limit the amount of spam inflicted upon its users, it does not accept email from computers with dynamically assigned IP addresses, or hosts that have generic DNS setup. The easiest solution may be to use the mail server of your ISP to relay your email. If you're not sure how to set up your mail client to do this, you may need to phone your ISP. If you have a static IP address and want to be able to send email through your own mail server, you will need to ask your ISP to set up a non-generic DNS for your IP address. If these suggestions don't work, you may want to use one of the many free Web-based email systems. You'll find more information on this Craigslist page.
