How To Set Up An Account In Another State

I set up an account in the state I moved to and was given a new code. The ad I posted went to the former state by default, I guess, and showed the new address on the item for sale. I did not set up the account in the former state and have tried everything to do this right but fail (senior citizen). The screen stated that if I deleted the account that was set up first, I could not set up another account. It all seems screwed up with the many attempts I made including once using my old aol email. Help!

Your question is not completely clear, but I'm guessing Craigslist is rejecting an ad in a second state that's similar to one in the first. Craigslist requires that (1) the first ad be deleted, and (2) the second one be posted 48 hours or later from the original posting of the first.

If this is not what you're after, resubmit quoting the error message.

Make a new email account and then create a new account to sell your items so you can repost your ad putting the proper state.
