Searching, In Particular

When searching a rental, aren't I suppose to be able to search the city I want to live in, showing all those ads first, before having to sift thru neighboring cities? For instance, if I search Sarasota, shouldn't the Bradenton ads come up on the results after the Sarasota ads? Can we not get that working properly?

Yes, in theory that is the way it is supposed to work. Sometimes, they put a "cookie" on your system and it constantly pulls up your local area when you try to search. Make sure you go to the main craigslist page, select the State and then the closest City to where you want. Then you can search by city. go to craigslist.org and it should take you to the overall site versus your local site.
