The pull cord on the mover can be stuck because of reasons which include the following, debris in the housing on the motor top being trapped causing a blockage or damaged cord. One can fix it by cleaning the housing and replacing a damaged cord.Many walk-behind lawn mowers use a pull cord to start the engine. After pulling the cord, it wraps around a spring-loaded pulley that recoils the rope around the pulley in preparation for the next pull. Over time, the cord can deteriorate and break. Fixing a lawn mower pull cord can be done in a few moments with some basic hand tools.
