Flare Problems With Brown Polaroid Glasses

the brown polaroid glasses have the anti reflection coating on the back of the lens--I have had many glasses and have never seen this before. These glasses cause a very disturbing flare the the sun hits them--something I have never experinced before. I believe this would not be a problem if the coating were on the front. The polarizing function is the same if the glasses are viewed from either side. Can these glasses be returned for recoating on the outside of the lens?

Because your brown polaroid sunglasses with backside anti-reflective coating are not working neither as advertised nor designed, take them back to Costco which has a Satisfaction Guaranteed policy and a much more generous return policy than most businesses.

Your sunglasses are not from the consumer electronics area which includes televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, touch screen tablets, MP3 players and cellular phones. so the 90 day limitation does not apply.

Although the backglare problems you are having could be due in part to design of the glasses or defective coating as you mentioned, this should not be happening and can actually be very dangerious.

If you have any record of the purchase, receipt, credit card statement, all the easier to make the return to your closest Costco Warehouse. If that is not possible send an email to customer service or call the customer service center at 1-800-955-2292.
