No Tv

I turned on my tv about 30 minutes ago. I do not have tv...I have a message that it will be on 'in a moment' I do not know how long it had been unavailable before I tried to watch. How do I find out the real expected time for me to get my tv service back on?

Unfortunately, you can't. There could be about a thousand reasons your cable is out: connection to house, connection at street, pole down, transformer out, bad cable box, solar flare, etc. etc. You can try disconnecting the power source at the box, wait 90 seconds, and plug it back in. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait.
