Coby Tv The Menu Bar Will Stay On The Screen What Is Causing This

Our coby tv the menu bar will appear on the screen and stay on the screen and will not respond when the exit button is pushed help sure would like to watch a movie

Step 1, replace batteries in remote with NEW batteries.

Step 2, have remote replaced, or TV repaired

Step 3, stay with big name brands when it comes to electronics.
