There are two layers of screen for a tablet. The one on the top is a touch screen, which works for the function of touch. The other below is the LCD screen, which its function is for displaying graphic. This item is just the LCD, it only helps you out if the problem is the graphic display, not for a abnormal touch function. Go here for the touch screen
