How Do Reset The Password Lock On The Start Up Screen On A Coby Kyros Mid7048?

If you input the password incorrectly 5 times in a row, it will ask you for your Google account details to reset it. If that doesn't work then your only other option is to factory reset the tablet which will erase everything.
