Coby Mid1042-8-c User Manual How To Get On Skype
when i sign in it keeps showing up to check mobile network connections try again! what does that mean,what am i looking for?

There could be wrong with the application. I have owned a coby tablet myself and for some reason these tablets are EXTREMELY faulty. Usually it does not want to respond to certain apps and are completely unresponsive. I suggest that you try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If you still can return the tablet you should do so now.

Skype can work only if there is a good network connection. If you have none or a weak connection then skype will show the message.
If you have the same problem, but a good connection then try to log out and quit skype and restart again.
