My 2011 300 Chrysler Limited Will Not Detect The Key With My Ipad In The Car, Y?

I WAS STRANDED TWICE WHEN MY 300L CHRYSLER 2011 WOULD NOT DETECT THE KEY WITH MY IPAD AND IPHONE4 POWERED ON AND IT WAS NOT UNTIL I POWERED DOWN BOTH PIECES OF EQUIPMENT THAT I WAS ABLE TO UNLOCK AND START THE CAR. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AND CAN IT BE FIX? IF NOT CAN I HAVE THE NUMBER TO A GM OF CHRYSLER?
