Natural Gas Is A Motor Destroyer ?

hi i have a Question : i'm  owner of sebring 2006 powered with natural gas all is good  & runs exellent, but some story in tv show that it is not good for the motor head & valves !!  does anyone have a Professional answer , i will be very thankful
