Why Might My 2009 Malibu Be Studdering Or Misfiring

my 2009 malibu is misfiring or studdering at a red light or going at a steady speed. I put a gas treartment in and its still doing.

Check the air filter. It should be in a plastic box on the driver's side. A dirty air filter would cause your car to act up the way you described. 

If that isn't the problem, spray carburetor cleaner into the throttle body while the car is running. Spray it in short spurts so the car doesn't stall. Be sure to spray it from arm's length in case of a backfire. Carb cleaner is very flammable, so you should be very careful when using it.
