Plz Help Me My 2008 Chevy Hhr Won't Start Thanks In Advance.

Plz help me my 2008 Chevy HHR won't start after cooling mode when on and the car overheated I changed the radiator because it was crashed and added water and new coolant but it still won't start just kind of like wants to start but it doesn't thank you in advance .

It sounds like the pinion gear for the starter is not being kicked out hard enough to engage the flywheel, and the clicking sounds like a failed solenoid or bad battery.

The other side of the solenoid/battery thing is that the battery cable and terminals may not be allowing sufficient power transfer to the solenoid and starter.
