2008 Impala And The Warning 'engine Has Reduced Power'

is this something I should be concerned with because it is coming on more lately

Anytime you get a message about losing power or reduced power there's definitely something to worry about. I just researched online and found out that you need to replace your Throttle Body Assembly which is located on your accelerator pedal. It's gonna cost you alot to have it professionally done. If you love working on cars I'm sure you can find the part at Autozone or Advanced Auto. Actually you should also check out Ebay.

Before you do any of this take it to Autozone and have them run a free diagnostic check. They will give you a code for what's wrong then you can go from there.
