Parking Brake Issues

I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. The cable to release it is broken. How do I release brake??

you should place a block behind a front and rear tire snug, and have the vehicle OFF and in PARK, you can find a spot in the cable that is not broken and still connected to whatever it is engaging and pull back on it with a pair of pliers or vise grips until you can hear ( or feel ) it release.
