Fuse Location & Price

Vehicle wouldnt start tried jump starting & polarities on cables were reversed positive on negative & negative on positive thought battery was bad,bought new battery installed it & no power to anything.Mechanic said fuse was blown is this the alternator fuse what size is it & where is its location on the vehicle also how much do they cost?
