I Have A 2002 Chevy Impala With A A.b.s Light Staying On I Dont Have The Scanner
is there a way to reset the a.b.s system with out a scanner please give any info as much as possible that might help sincerly ron

The ABS(Anti-Lock Braking System) is on to let you know that there is a problem with the system. Resetting the code will not work. I tried it! I attempted to reset the ABS code and less than one second later, it re-appeared. I later checked online that the ABS is a continous monitor; if it detects a fault, the computer will put the error code and the ABS light will turn on once again. The best way to literally remove the ABS light and restore functionality is if you service it and then it'll be gone for good.
P.S: Everytime you turn off and turn on the engine, it's the exact equivalence ofa scanner. Eveytime you turn off the engine and turn it back on, the ABS resets itself, but when the same problem happens, it turns back on. Like I said, fix the problem, take it to a mechanic.
