Heater Hoses?

I have a leak in my heater hose, the one that goes to the rear heater, I think. Anyway, I think that I need to bypass the rear heater and just connect the two hoses. I am not even sure if I understand the problem right but I need to get the vehicle driveable enough to get to a shop.

It would be advisable to get a mechanic from the shop to take a look before connecting or bypassing anything. However, it should be okay to connect but there are always risks in doing unapproved fixes.
