No Electrical Power
I've got a 1991 2500 'burb and no power to anything. I replaced the alt. which was bad, the battery is good,12.75 volts. It sat for a while and it needed a jump to start, but when I hocked the cables up I got a giant spark like i crossed the cables(I didn't) now there is nothing. Help

Either you hooked up the wiring to the alternator incorrectly or the wires are touching at the alternator. Check your wiring at the alternator first to be sure you did it correctly. And remember to always disconnect the battery cables before you do any work on an alternator.
As for the no power issue, I would guess that you fried a fusible link going from your battery to the alternator. Check to see if you can find where it is and be sure it isn't toasted. If it's toasted, you will have to cut it out and replace it.
