Suddenly I Have Dont Have Email Account

I use my email daily. this morning I try to log in and centrylink says "you do not have a current active account, Connect your customer support"  I have had this account for a few years. What is up and how do I get back into my account or get it active.  I called Century link and they said I should call Liberty bell Telecom, I call them and they say call Century link
