How To Change The Battery

There are 2 tiny philip head screws that set in on the back of the calculator. Using an eyeglass type screwdriver, remove the 2 screws, then with a flathead screw driver, or butter knife, pry the two pieces of the calculator apart. It takes quite a bit of effort to do this. You'll see a raised round metal protruding from the side with the buttons of the calculator front,but turn over to the back side. Use a tiny flathead screwdriver to push the battery out the open end. I think duracell 389/390 will fit to replace the gp 189.
