Printer Turning On

I turned on my printer and the green light did not stay on - it keeps flashing red/orange and then green and will not print

First, you have to verify if all the cable connections are in their right places. Check of the power cable is plugged into the power outlet. You should also reinstall the driver software using the latest driver provided by Canon website. Here's the link to the download page of the driver.
