Printer Will Not Switch On It Just Flashes And Goes Off

When I try t switch my printer on the ON/OFF light flashes green 6 times, then it switches off again. When I press the ON/OFF button pressed, and press the reset button twice, the orange alarm light goes on, and keeps lighting.

The flasshing and turning off of your Canon PIXMA iP6220D printer are indications that there are cable connection problems. First, you have to make sure that the power cable and USB data cable is connected properly according to the setup guide. You may need to replace the cable if found not working properly.
