How To Reset The Canon Mx512 User Manual

Turn off your computer and wait for it to shut down completely and then push the power button on the Canon printer off. Plug the USB or the parallel cable in to the back of the printer and make sure cable is securely seated. Connect the other end of cable to the computer and turn the power button on the printer back on and log on to the computer and click on the 'Start' button. Choose the 'Control Panel' from the menu and select 'Printers and Faxes' and then double-click the 'Canon printer' and click on the 'Printer' menu.
