Windos 8, Installing Pixma Mx512, It Says Printer Drivers In Use,

I have unstalled old MP drivers , programs, files, etc my PC is clean, yet I cannot install the software, it always comes up with this stupid message MP Printer drivers in use/

You have to download the drivers/software manually at

It was such a pain in the butt to find this out. The cd is aparently for windows 7 and below. Hope this helped !
