Red Light Flashing.

The lights on printer alternate between green and red and the message says to restart printer and if problem persists to see manual. We do not have the manual. Any insight on how to fix? Printer does not respond to anything and will not print.

The answer depends on the blink pattern—between the green blinks and the orange (what you call red). Count the blinks and then refer to this Canon page. For a faster solution, note the error number and refer to the same page.
