Normally the E error is caused by the printer being jammed. Press the C/CE button and check the roller with the numbers on it to be making a full turn. If it is not then try pushing the roller with the help of a rod or screw driver. The wheel should turn counter clockwise. If it is still jammed then you would need to take the unit for service to be opened and cleaned.
