Print Toner Bleeding Along Edges Of Paper

the printer tape is "bleeding" toner along both side edges of the paper tape. this is a new machine. any suggestions?

How do you stop printer ink from bleeding on paper?

Give print-out time to dry

Make sure you allow the ink enough time to dry and seal into the paper. Do not touch the image with your fingers directly and do not stack one document on top of another. Place it on a dry, flat surface and let it sit for a few minutes before you handle it.

If the ink is coming out of the printer wet it is possible the ribbon has too much ink or the paper is the incorrect type. Check that the paper roll is the correct type.The print should be dry on exit.
