Turning Off Alarm
I have a 2012 Cadillac Escalade that didn't come with a key fob and when I unlock the door with the key and pull the handle the alarm goes off. How do I make it stop doing tha

If your car alarms go off after unlocking with a key, this could be due to sensitive sensors, low battery, faulty key fob, an accidental alarm trigger, or a broken microswitch. To avoid these problems, use a key fob to unlock the doors if you used one to lock the vehicle

There are a few things you can do to make your 2012 Cadillac Escalade stop going off when you unlock the door with the key and pull the handle:
Check the battery in your key fob. If the battery is low, it may not be sending a strong enough signal to the car's alarm system, which could cause the alarm to go off. Replace the battery in your key fob and see if that solves the problem.
Reset the alarm system. You can reset the alarm system on your Cadillac Escalade by following these steps:
Turn off the car and remove the key from the ignition.
Press and hold the panic button on the key fob for 5 seconds.
Turn the key to the ON position and then back to the OFF position.
The alarm system should now be reset.
Disable the alarm system. If you don't want to use the alarm system on your Cadillac Escalade, you can disable it by following these steps:

You should turning off alarm by following methods:
- Getting into the car and locking your doors (assuming you have electric locks) might stop the alarm.
- It's exceptionally stressful to sit there and try to turn the car on if the alarm is going off, but if your car will let you turn the ignition that may stop the alarm.
- If just trying to turn your car on yields no result,try turning the key to the ACC position (where you can play the radio, but the engine is not working). It may take a few minutes to work.
- Pulling out the fuse that powers your alarm should stop the alarm.
- Your car alarm runs off power from your car's main battery or backup battery. Remove the wires of alarm that is connected with battery.
