1994 Cadillac Sts Seville 4.6 Liter Engine. Dumped Anti-freeze,

I hope someone can help me. I was driving my 94 Cadillac STS Seville and it started to say anti-freeze over heating then after I stopped it it dumped all the anti-freeze onto the area were I parked. Now after that I put water in were the anti-freeze goes and it didn't last long only with water. I had a friend take a look and he too off the waterpump housing made of fiberglass and said that there was a crack in it and that was the problem. I wanted a second opinion and was wondering if anyone can help please and thank you. I only want to get the car back out on the road and get going. Please let me know your thoughts. No water coming out of the tail pipe so I don't think its a cracked head or blown gasket. Please let me know what you think, thank you so much for giving any professional ideas on how to fix this problem.
