Oil Pressure Low Indicator Light And Car Stalls

I just spent thousanda of dollars getting my Buick fixed and drive it from the garage and when stopping at a stop sigh my RPM gauge dropped significantly and the engine stalled. This continued on my drive home each time the OIL PRESSURE LOW Indicator Light came on and I was told that the car has to re-learn. Hard for it to re-learn when I never had this issue before having my aletnator, waterpump, timing belt, cam sensor (which had a hairline cracked) battery, (which I just had replaced a year and a half ago), and was also told I needed my AC Compressor replaced. Told them not to bother cause it was going to be another 1100 dollars so they put on a smaller belt and by-passed the AC compressor. Anyone else out there have the same problem or not what fix I need??
