Correct Heater Hose Fittings In The Belt Tightener Assembly.

I took out both heater hose fittings out of the belt tightener assembly. When I went to put them back into the new assembly I see that one of the 90 degree fittings has a spring loaded restrictor in it. I don't know if the restrictor fitting goes on the heater hose to the heater or the hose coming back from the heater.
