Accessing The Fuel Pum

1996 Buick Roadmaster Collectors Edition Station wagon with LT1 Motor.  Does the gas tank have to be dropped and emptied to replace the fuel pump? Or is there an access panel?

You DO have to drop the tank, you DO NOT have to empty it. It would be wise, however, to reduce the amount of gas (driving or draining) for easier handling during removal.
