Underside Thread Tangled.

This was working until bobbin thread ran out. New bobbin thread comes thru single-hole side, from inside to outside [no instructions anywhere relating to whether bobbin sides are relevant]. Bobbin is threaded thru tension bar and tracked as per manual. Same needle and thread as before. Why is underside tangled?
