Changing The New Default Login Password

Can the new default login password be changed on the printer itself, or must it be changed via a web browser per your important notice? When I enter my printer's IP address in my web browser, I get a danger warning message that this website is not private and thus is a real threat possibility that my information (i.e. new password) could be compromised by a hacker who could then gain entrance to my computer system. I would be grateful for a response to my question, and thank you!

Follow this step

1) display printer status on web browser

2) select security

3) select administrator password

4) select change administrator password :if the administrator password is not set, registration confirming messages displayed. Select yes when the message displayed again, then select OK.

5) select a range where the administrator password is valid, and then select OK.

Remote UI or other tools

enter the administrator password is required to change the settings items using remote UI or software

6) enter password, and then select OK.
