When I Plug My Bose Radio/cd Player Into Any Wall Outlet, It Doesn't Work. Howev

when I plug wave radio / cd into any wall outlet, it will not work. When I plug it into a extension cord, into the wall outlet with radio plugged into that extension cord, it works. What is wrong

Sounds like power cord pin issue. Try plugging the radio very slowly while holding down the power button. if the radio turns on and off then pins are the problem.
