The Bose Acoustimass 6 Series III subwoofer does have input wires, although they may not be immediately visible. Here are the steps to connect the subwoofer:
  1. Locate the audio input on the back of the subwoofer. This will be a single RCA jack labeled "Audio Input."
  2. Find the audio output on your amplifier or receiver. This will typically be labeled "Subwoofer" or "LFE" (Low Frequency Effects).
  3. Connect a single RCA cable from the audio output on your amplifier or receiver to the audio input on the subwoofer.
  4. Plug in the power cord for the subwoofer.
  5. Turn on your audio system and adjust the subwoofer volume to your preference.

Note that some amplifiers or receivers may have a menu setting that needs to be enabled in order to activate the subwoofer output. Check your owner's manual for instructions on how to enable this setting if necessary.
