Sub Woofer Of Bose Acoustimass 10 Series Iv While Playing Music Stop Operating

I hook up my Bose Acoustinas 10 series Iv on my ONKYO TX SR506. After playing some music for about an hour, the sub woofer just suddenly stop working. We're wondering what may have happened.  We opted turn off all power and stop using it for the moment till i get some advise on what to check first before restarting it again.  We'll appreciate much your advise on the matter. Thank you.   Carlos
