Error Code E:27

Error code E:27 in the manual says that there is a door lock problem. I have removed the door lock assembly and it seems to be fine. It seems as if the lock is not getting power. Power must come from the switch panel. How do you reset the machine logic to get rid of the error code and then what else do you look for to solve the problem?

If your washing machine flashes error code E27, it refers to your door being locked.

My Steps:

  1. Hold down the "Allergy rinse" button, "Spin Selection" button at the same time.
  2. Turn the Wash selection knob to the left on "Cold". Result: You should see different codes flashing on screen, this is resetting the machine's error, and is exactly what we want.
  3. After a few seconds turn Wash selection knob to "Off".
  4. Turn machine back on.

Result: Your mashine should work now, and door should be un locked :)

Disclaimer: Yes I do work in QA, and am Unemployed :(

Cheers :)
