There are a few possible reasons why your Bosch dishwasher keeps running and you have to manually push a button to advance it to the next cycle. Here are some of the most common causes:

Faulty control board: The control board is the brain of the dishwasher and it tells the different components what to do. If the control board is faulty, it may not be able to properly control the dishwasher's operation.

Faulty water inlet valve: The water inlet valve is responsible for controlling the flow of water into the dishwasher. If the valve is faulty, it may not be able to shut off properly, which could cause the dishwasher to keep running.

Faulty drain pump: The drain pump is responsible for removing water from the dishwasher. If the pump is faulty, it may not be able to drain the water properly, which could cause the dishwasher to keep running.

Clogged filter: The filter is located at the bottom of the dishwasher and it catches food particles and other debris. If the filter is clogged, it can prevent the dishwasher from draining properly, which could cause the dishwasher to keep running.

If your dishwasher keeps running, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

Check the control board. Make sure that it is not damaged or corroded.

Check the water inlet valve. Make sure that it is opening and closing properly.

Check the drain pump. Make sure that it is running properly.

Check the filter. Make sure that it is clean and free of debris.

If you have checked all of the above and the dishwasher still keeps running, you may need to take it to a qualified technician to have it diagnosed and repaired.

Here are some additional tips to keep in mind:

Do not run the dishwasher if the filter is clogged. This can damage the dishwasher.

If you are unable to fix the problem yourself, take the dishwasher to a qualified technician as soon as possible. Running a dishwasher with a faulty control board or other component can damage other parts of the dishwasher and make repairs more expensive.

I hope this helps!
