My Dishwasher Displays E24. Drains Fine, No Obstructions.

I get an E24 error but have ensured no obstructions in the drain hose, air gap, or drain impeller. Drain valve cover is snapped in tightly. E24 occurs just before the washer is supposed to fill. I have replaced the fill valve but e24 persists. I can open and close the door about 1 min in to the reg wash cycle and then everything works fine throughout the cycle. Is this a control board issue perhaps?
