Won't Stay Charged

I cannot keep my vacuum charged for more than 5 minutes. I need a new battery I think, I can't find one online so far.

Allow the battery to become cool for about an hour before attaching the charger.

Leave the battery on charge overnight even if the light says the battery is charged it will be trickle charged if left connected.
