The Lower Thread Is Bunching Up And Pulling The Upper Thread Too Low Down.

Why does my bottom thread keep bunching?

If the thread has knots, is not smooth, is uneven, or is loose on the bobbin, then it has not been threaded correctly. If your machine uses a bobbin case, follow your sewing machine's instructions to remove the bobbin from the case and re-thread it.

A massive nest of tangled thread is usually a result of the sewing machine being improperly threaded. Just because the tangled mess is on the bobbin side of the stitching, don't assume the fault lies with the bobbin. To correct this problem, put the presser foot up and unthread the sewing machine entirely.
