I Can Not Adjust Upper Tension

Is the problem with your disks? Obviously, adjusting the tension knob should do the trick. However, if the tension is still too tight at 00 or too loose at 10...adjusting the knob doesn't solve the problem. That's my problem - way too tight at 00.

"L" means to "Loosen" and it also means "lower" the tension on the bobbing needle.

So lowering the number on the knob, can "loosen" the tension of the needle thread and bobbing needle.

Here is what I wold do:

Usually the tension

To increase your top tension if it's too loose, turn your knob so that the numbers are increasing. Try half to 1 number lower, then test the stitches on a piece of scrap fabric. Continue until it looks even on both sides and you can no longer see the bottom thread on the top.
